Is your child ready for the first year of school? Here's what they need before they start.

Good health and physical well-being are important. Make sure your children eat nutritious meals and snacks and get enough rest. Your child should also have a dental check-up by the time they are two years old.
Preschoolers also need opportunities to exercise and develop physical co-ordination. To learn to control large muscles, children need to throw balls, run, jump, climb, and dance to music.
Social and emotional maturity is very important. It's the basis of getting along with others and we'll be exploring this in detail. You can help your child feel confident about getting on a bus with other children and going to school.

Remember you are your child's best teacher!
